ABOUT ME

Joana is originally from Porto, the city where she was born and studied. Her journey in the fashion industry began when she participated in a modeling contest and started working as a model.

After more than 10 years of experience as a model and completing her degree in Communications Sciences and Business Communication, Joana transitioned into production, starting as an assistant at Snowberry Production. It was at Snowberry that Joana discovered her true passion, becoming a casting director for several of the company’s clients. This is when she realized where she wanted to focus her career.

Joana is now specialized as a Casting Director in various areas of fashion, offering services for:

• Fashion photography and video casting

• Fashion show casting

• Advertising casting

After four years at Snowberry, Joana received an opportunity at the Portuguese giant Farfetch, where she worked as a casting director for all the group’s business units.

Alongside her work at Farfetch, Joana has taken on freelance projects as a Casting Director for renowned brands and clients, including Portuguese Soul magazine, Unilabs, Salsa Jeans, and international names such as Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Reebok, KIABI Stores, and New Balance.
